To achieve noble and laudable objectives as enshrines in its Mission Statement.  The Colombo South International College, Montessori Division commenced its operations in 1989.  The noble Mission declares:

We are the 6th to be registered as an International College in Sri Lanka. College is conveniently located at No.43, S de S Jayasinghe Mawatha, Kohuwala, Nugegoda
The Montessori Division is situated in front of the main school in a five storyed building designed to accommodate all the facets of Montessori education at No.1, Anderson Road, Dehiwela, the suburb of the Metropolitan city. The entire building encompasses Montessori Units inclusive of children’s playground and a spacious auditorium. Primary and Secondary education is housed in a 5th storyed building in front of the Montessori with all the amenities.
We opened a branch at Kottawa and construction work of Panadura Branch will commence shortly. It has shown its meaningful existence within the academic community and has been well sought quality education service provider to the nation. The school has not only capitalized the students to acquire academic qualification, but also has played a vital role in moulding their character.
